Our Mission
The Wastewater Collections Division’s mission is to provide responsive, efficient,
high quality wastewater services for the Town of Lantana’s public and private sector.
Our Responsibilities
The Wastewater Collections Activity, which consists of half of the Water/Wastewater Manager and three System Service Workers, are responsible for the maintenance and repair of the Town’s wastewater collection system, which consists of but not limited to lift station operations, lift station maintenance, lift station pump replacement, back up lift station generator maintenance, back up lift station pump maintenance, sewer main maintenance, sewer main repairs, sewer main backups, sewer lateral installations to the property line, sewer lateral backups from the sewer main to the property line, sewer lateral repairs from the sewer main to the property line and all aspects of the storm water drainage system maintenance program.
The Wastewater Collection crew provides daily maintenance to eighteen lift systems and their subsystems and provide twenty-four-hour emergency response when necessary.
