The Town of Lantana is accepting applications from interested Lantana residents to fill volunteer positions for the following Boards:

Greater Lantana School Community Education Council (Regular Member)

Planning Commission  
The Planning Commission, reviews all comprehensive plan amendments, rezonings and local land development regulations of the Town.  It also sits as the Zoning Board of Appeals.

Membership: Five (5) members and two (2) alternates, all Town residents, appointed by the Town Council.  Terms are for three (3) years.

Meetings: Fourth Wednesday of the month (as needed) at 6:30 p.m. at Town Hall.

Greater Lantana School Community Education Council  
The Education Council serves as a liaison between the School Board of Palm Beach County and the Lantana Town Council and develops recommendations to present to the Town Council for action on issues concerning the School Board in support of schools in the Greater Lantana community.

Membership:  Six (6) resident members; one (1) member representing the Greater Lantana Chamber of Commerce; and one (1) member at large.  Terms are for three (3) years.

Meetings:  Twice a year on the second Monday in September and May at 10:00 a.m. at Town Hall. Additional meetings will be announced as necessary.
