Water Restrictions
Lantana follows the South Florida Water Management District's mandatory year-round restrictions (YRR) for land irrigation. These restrictions are permanent and designed to ensure the efficient use of water landscape irrigation (including lawns). The rule applies when the water source for irrigation is a utility, lake, pond, canal, or well. These measures limit landscape watering to either two (2) or three (3) days a week, depending on where the property owner lives. Please see the watering restrictions below for the Town of Lantana.
Residents need to note the distinction between the YRR, which is mandatory, year-round, and permanent, and a declared Water Shortage, which is a temporary declaration.
