Dear Residents,

The Lantana Police Department is currently investigating numerous incidents in which the suspect calls the intended victim telling them that they have a warrant for their arrest. The suspect uses various fake names and titles posing as a Police Department employee. The suspect tells the intending intended victim that their warrant can be taken care of if they pay it by various means (i.e. Western Union, Bitcoin etc.). If you receive a call similar in nature, please do not offer any type of payment as this is not the Lantana Police Department contacting you in reference to a warrant.
