Development Services Fee Schedule - Effective October 1, 2024
- Building Permit Fee
- $0 to $100,000 - 3% of value
- $100,001 or more - 2% of value
- Plus any State of Florida required surcharge or fee
- Building Permit Fee
- Private Inspector - 25% reduced fee
- Private Plan Review - 25% reduced fee
- Private Inspector and Private Plan Review - 50% reduced fee
- Air Conditioning Exact Change Out: $40
- Water Heater Exact Change Out: $40
- Small Scale Solar Energy System Permit: $400
- Sign Permit Fees
- Valuation $0 to $500 - $30
- Valuation: $501 to $1,000 - $35
- Valuation: $1,001 or more - $5 for each additional $1,000 or fraction
- Site Work Permit: $250
- Complete Demolition Permit: $300
- Partial Demolition Permit: Same as Building Permit
- Subcontractor Permit Fee (in addition to Building Permit Fee): $30
- Emergency Permitting, as determined by the Building Official (fee is in addition to regular permit fee)
- Under $500 - $25
- $501 to $2,500 - $40
- $2,501 to $5,000 - $55
- Greater than $5,000 - $55 + $10 per $1,000 value (if emergency, as determined by Building Official)
- Failure to Obtain Permit: Four times permit fee
- Drainage Plan Review
- Initial Review by Town Engineer - $400
- Subsequent Reviews of Same Plan - $135 per hour
- Temporary Certificate of Occupancy: $200
- Certificate/Letter of Completion: $50
- Building Permit Extension
- 1st: $50
- 2nd: $75
- Additional: $100
- Revalidation of Expired Building Permit (one time only by Building Official): Equal to the original permit fee or a maximum of $150
- Revisions to Permitted Plan
- $35 Residential, $50 Commercial/Other plus $10 per plan sheet.
- Revisions that create an increase in the valuation - 3% of added valuation and $35 Residential, $50 Commercial/Other plus $10 per plan sheet.
- Sign Appeal Fee: $250

- Small Plans (Up to 11 by 14) 30 cents each (maximum of 8)
- Larger Plans (Greater than 11 by 14) - $25 Service fee to Town, plus the party requesting copies shall pay courier fees and reproduction costs directly to the authorized printer.
- Reinspection Fee
- First reinspection - $40
- Second reinspection if correction not done - $75
- Third reinspection if correction not done - $300 charged per 553.80 Florida Statutes.
- Change of Contractor: $25 plus 1% of remaining valuation to complete permitted work
- Duplicate Permit Package: $20
- Duplicate Permit Package with Inspection Record: $30
- After Hours Inspections Per Visit (Other than Monday through Friday, 8:30 to 5 pm and holidays): $150
- Construction Board of Adjustments and Appeals: $500
- Administrative Review Fee: $300
- Abandoned Real Property Registration Fee: $100
- Administrative Services Fee for Business Tax Receipt: $50 (non-refundable administrative fee) plus the cost of the Business Tax Receipt
