Home/Year-Round Water Restrictions For New & Existing Landscaping

Lantana follows the South Florida Water Management District's mandatory year-round water restrictions for existing and new landscaping. These water restrictions apply to any use of water for irrigation purposes, regardless of the source.

Per Ordinance O-08-2022, residents shall follow the below watering requirements:

For Existing Landscaping

Landscape irrigation is prohibited between 10 am and 4 pm.

Even-numbered addresses, or other locations with no address, may irrigate three days a week, only on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays.

Odd-numbered addresses: may irrigate three days a week, only on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays.

For New Landscaping

New landscaping may be irrigated once when installed without regard to the above watering days and times. In addition, irrigation of the soil immediately before the new landscaping is allowed without regard to the normal watering days and times.
