Utilities

The Utilities Department consists of three divisions with twelve employees; one half of the Director of Public Services, one Utilities Director, one half of a Administrative Assistant, one Water/Wastewater Manager, five System Service Workers, one Meter Reader, one Chief Water Plant Operator and two Water Plant Operators.

The Utilities Department is responsible for the treatment of safe drinking water, meter reading, meter testing, meter repairs, meter replacement, water service leak repairs, water main repairs, water service taps, meter installs, water turn off, water turn on, fire hydrant installation, fire hydrant repairs, testing on town owned fire hydrant, lift station operation and maintenance, sewer main backups, sewer lateral taps, sewer lateral backups from the main to the property line and maintenance on town owned storm drains.
