Spread Holiday Cheer & Win!

The Town of Lantana is thrilled to announce the Holiday Cheer Light Display Contest! We invite residents and businesses to deck the halls, light up the rooftops, and fill our town with festive cheer.

Light Up Lantana!

  • Who can participate? Lantana residents and businesses!
  • How to enter: Fill out the entry form and submit it with photos by Sunday, December 7th at 8 pm
  • Judging:
    • All contest participants will be visited between December 10th to the 17th. Remember to keep your lights on that week!
    • Judging is based on "curb appeal" from the street only. Therefore, only those decorations and lights located on the street side of the property will be judged. (Corner lots will be judged from both streets). 
    • Judges will not enter the property to view back or side yards.
    • Winners will be announced at the Town Council Meeting on January 12, 2026, at 6 PM at (500 Greynolds Circle).

Prizes & Recognition

  • Five winners will be chosen in these categories:
    • Merry & Bright Business Award: This Award recognizes the most festive storefront commercial business display, including window painting. (commercial businesses)  
    • Jingle Bell Rock Award: This Award recognizes the most creative, imaginative, and whimsical presentation with movement, illusion, and music with the creative use of lights and decorations. (residential)
    • Classic Holiday Award: Recognizes the best use of traditional holiday décor and lights. (residential).
    • Griswold Award: Because you can never have too many lights! This Award is for the most over-the-top decorations with an abundance of lights. (residential).
    • Judge's Favorite: This category is for the display the judges enjoyed the most (residential).
  • Winner Notification: Winners will be contacted by the Town of Lantana the week of December 22nd, 2025.
  • Prizes:
    • 1st Place (Each Category): Trophy, certificate and recognition on Town social media.
    • 2nd & 3rd Place (Each Category): Certificate and recognition on Town social media.
