Garbage information after Irma

Garbage service resumed September 12th on the normal schedule. Emergency vegetation / debris collection teams began pickups on Thursday, September 14th. Clean vegetation pick up is now on the normal schedule.  Please be sure to keep vegetation piles separate from garbage and construction/ fence section debris, or it will delay your pick up until it is properly separated. Also, remember to keep piles away from fences, mailboxes, power line equipment, water meters, fire hydrants and storm drains to ensure pick up. 
Based on the Solid Waste Authority’s approval, hurricane related construction debris, such as wooden fences, will begin in 1- 2 weeks.
