The Utilities Department Consists of four divisions with ten and a half employees; one Utilities Director, one Utilities Supervisor, five System Service Workers, one Chief Water Plant Operator and two Water Plant Operators.
The Utilities Department is responsible for the treatment safe drinking water, meter reading, meter testing, meter repairs, meter replacement, water service leak repairs, water main repairs, water service taps, meter installs, water turn off, water turn on, fire hydrant installation, fire hydrant repairs, testing on town owned fire hydrant, lift station operation and maintenance, sewer main backups, sewer lateral taps, sewer lateral backups from the main to the property line and maintenance on town owned storm drains.
